UNLIMITED WIRELESS FRAC PLUG SYSTEM
Interra’s RPG™(Replace Perforating Guns) system is a field-proven, unlimited stage system designed for both single and multipoint entry. It has a consistent large seat ID from toe to heel, enabling unlimited stages, and a sleeve design that is proven, simple and reliable. Electronic components in the plug allow for control of exposure time, temperature and fluids.
Stimulation is completed by deploying a wireless plug with a proprietary non-mechanical internal counting mechanism. As the plug passes each RPG sleeve it registers as a “count.” When the target number of counts is observed, the plug locks to engage the target sleeve or cluster of sleeves, shifting open. With the targeted sleeve(s) open, the stimulation is pumped and followed with the next plug, programmed to “count” to open the next targeted sleeve(s).
Following the stimulation of all stages, flow-back can begin immediately through the center of the plug, without intervention.

installation
Interra’s RPG SinglePoint or MultiPoint sleeves are installed as part of the casing string into the lateral section of the wellbore. The sleeves are positioned based on operator requirements in both open or cased hole applications. The sleeves are dimensionally identical simplifying installation operations.
Stimulation
On frac day, multiple Wireless Frac Plugs (WFP) are programmed on location and loaded into the launcher on top of the frac head. The fracturing process begins through the toe sleeve. At the tail end of the first stimulation, a WFP is launched at frac rate into the wellbore, travelling through the previously installed RPG sleeves. Once the WFP reaches the desired interval, it activates and engages the sleeve(s), opening for stimulation. This process is repeated throughout the well until all RPG stages have been completed.

After stimulation, wells can immediately be put on production or left shut-in to heal the formation. The Wireless Frac Plug comes in both millable and dissolvable options allowing operators to choose the best method to complete their well. With either option, the final result is a large bore ID without restrictions throughout the entire wellbore.
